In competition may take all young participants of the Humboldt Kolleg, who has completed their doctorate within last 12 years (PhD-students are also included).
Rules for preparation of the short talk and poster:

Short talk
A talk should be given in English. The length of a talk is 10 minutes. It is assumed that speakers will prepare multimedia presentations using MS Power Point (the .ppt format) or Adobe Acrobat (the .pdf format). A talk should begin with a title, author's name and an institutional affiliation. Talks will be loaded onto presentation computers prior to each session.
Please avoid complicated animation effects which often lead to a computer hang. Video demonstrations, if necessary, should be arranged using standard Windows players. -
Poster
The size of an area for a poster is A1 (594 x 841 mm). A poster should be presented in English. A poster should begin with a title, author's name and an institutional affiliation, page for poster has book orientation.
During the conference it will be prescribed the exact time for the Young Scientists Short Communication Session and for the Young Scientists Poster Session. The authors of the posters who will not be present near the poster at this time will not take part in the competition.
